Dear Pilot,
Welcome to the Division of South Caucasus. We are controlling the countries of
Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan with the main airports of Tbilisi, Yerevan and
Baku. We are glad to have you here flying in our area. Here are some tips and
tricks to make sure we have an enjoyable experience on IVAO:

Don´t fear the controller. We have seen many Pilots going offline before
entering our airspace. We are here to help. And if you are a new pilot and not
experienced with ATC Radio communication or procedures, no problem. We
where all beginners at one point and we will help you as best we can
accomplishing your mission in our FIR´s.

Squawk 1000. If you set squawk 1000, the controller is able to see your
data. On sq2000 (This is what the most pilots have set and it is not wrong in
real life) the controller does not see the data he needs for safe controlling.
In doubt with something? Ask! We are reachable on many channels
(Discord, email etc). And even the controller is reachable on his frequency or
on private chat. If he does not gives an answer, please be patient, maybe he
deals with another pilot this time.

It´s always good to have charts. There are many resources to get charts.
Some you need to pay, some are free to use. This is part of your flight
planning! But however, if you don´t have the charts, the controller will be
happy to vector you to the final and to give you the ILS frequency, inbound
course and the minimum for the approach you intend to fly.
We are all not perfect. So I like to encourage not to fear mistakes. Mistakes are for
learning and to improve our skills. Never hesitate to ask. Our staff is happy to help.
We are happy to have you here!
